We believe in: Becoming a marketing led organization. The VP of Marketing will have responsibility to execute strategy to drive market share growth, while developing relationships with key suppliers to promote brand positioning in a vastly competitive landscape!

The Position: As the VP of Marketing, you will support the alignment of product roadmaps, 4P strategies and key supplier relationships while evaluating the overall effectiveness of all marketing activities, and serve as a key member of our Senior Leadership Team.

Requirements:

  • Lead, develop, build, and optimize annual marketing strategy, budgets and product plans (overall business roadmap)
  • Grow and develop MLS’s brand equity and position, view the brand as a strategic tool to elevate MLS in core and developmental markets
  • Develop and implement strategies for short-, mid- and long-term demand generation in a B2B environment including push/pull strategies to the end user
  • Perform regular analysis on product portfolio, including product rationalization, 4P analysis, product performance and recommendations for maximizing market opportunities through new products
  • Develop strategies to enhance core market share and develop new end market penetration
  • Drives NPI activities, both internal and with supplier partners, including stage gate, GTM strategies, product performance monitoring and end market performance monitoring


Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Deep experience gathering market intelligence and analyzing data to identify key trends and performance drivers/inhibitors both external and internal to MLS
  • Experience transforming a non-digital marketing experience to a digital experience, including eCommerce, app development, digital campaigns, and social media presence
  • Strong brand messaging and creative experience; understands how to develop brand messaging strategy and execute through all marketing channels.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including executive level presentation skills

Location: The VP of Marketing will sit onsite at our corporate office in beautiful Wilsonville, OR    (~ 17 miles south of downtown Portland).  Home to some of the most diverse landscapes in the country, Oregon boasts a beautiful coastline to the west with rugged deserts and mountains to the east. Known for our wild rivers, scenic bikeways, abundant wineries, and craft breweries there is a little bit of something for anyone looking to relocate.
