Description
Job DescriptionThe Manufacturing Division Site Learning Specialist reports through GLD and supports site learning needs with responsibility for organizing and implementing learning solutions through planning and managing logistics of the site or region. Success in this role depends on a candidate's ability to effectively deliver learning solutions to achieve desired business results.
Responsibilities:
- Implement learning plans for client ensuring adherence to standards, including implementation training programs. Monitors progress with appropriate documentation and metrics and defines opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with site learning teams to implement, maintain and continuously improve standard learning processes.
- Support clients to follow content standards and drive adherence/compliance which allows for current content, best-in-class design and an improved learner experience.
- Support HRBP's at site to integrate learning solutions with other talent-related initiatives.
- Deliver assigned routine training and/or support local SME's providing training as needed.
- Prepare reports to support learning programs against set metrics.
- Maintaining accurate training records in compliance with company standards.
- Support of routine administrative activities such as collection of data and submission of tickets to Learning Operations for Learning Administration Management: scheduled offerings, item/curriculum assignments, documentation, curriculum build/modify, and any other LMS transactions required.

- Learning Consultation: Applies knowledge of the business and/or stakeholder to identify learning strategies to enable critical success factors required to achieve objectives. Conducts needs assessment and capability gap analysis for single learning solutions. Applies learning industry expertise to identify potential learning solutions.
- Business Acumen: Ability to understand basics of business goals, outcomes, and leverage internal network make sound business decisions
- Collaboration: Work with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner, including the ability to actively listen to understand differencing perspectives and applying tools and techniques to build consensus on execution of projects.
- Creative Thinking: Basic skill in applying tools and techniques for grasping new concepts, acquiring new ways of seeing things, and revising ways of thinking and patterns of behavior
- Oral and Written Communications: Ability to distribute accurate information and craft messages for appropriate target audiences, with guidance if needed. Speaks and writes clearly and concisely with the ability to select the appropriate form of communication to share information.
- Data analytics: Ability to monitor and business KPIs, talent metrics, and performance metrics to provide to business to make better decisions. Provide employees with data to help support continuous improvement.
- LD Policies, Standards, and Procedures: Knowledge of and ability to understand and use organization standards, procedures, and policies relevant to staff learning and development.
- Adult Learning: Familiarity in concepts and practices of adult learning to meet the dynamic needs of the business.
- Learning Needs Analysis: Ability to gather, analyze and report information regarding the impact of learning solutions against key business drivers and evolving strategic priorities. Ability to present information in a way that is meaningful to the organization, and to use learning metrics and analytics to inform organizational decision making.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required with 3 years of related experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development and or manufacturing. (with Masters' degree, minimum experience is 1 year)
- Minimum 1 year of experience facilitating / delivering learning solutions
Preferred:
- Learning & Development experience in a GMP environment
