Do you have a hunger for repairing industrial equipment, as well as a chance to constantly learn and develop your technical skills? We have an opening in our state-of-the-art facility for an Instrument Repair Technician in Lancaster, PA on 2nd shift! You will be monitoring industrial equipment day to day, troubleshooting PLCs, and partnering with other skilled trade individuals to keep the plant and production running as efficiently as possible. You will act as an independent critical thinker who saves the day with corrective and preventative maintenance daily! This position pays $36.76 per hour and will be either 2nd (3p-11p) or 3rd (11p-7a) shift.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Provide Technical Expertise:  Program and troubleshoot HMI graphical interfaces and PLCs, calibrate weigh scale systems, load cells, and loss of weight feeders. Also provide your knowledge on analog control loops, PID, 4-20, logic, process controls, set-up and calibration procedures
  • Prioritizing Innovation and Communication - Actively seeking ways to improve plant efficiency and identifying cost saving opportunities. All while maintaining an open dialogue with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding day-to-day activities and working side by side with Maintenance Electricians
  • Partner and Collaborate with Team – Constantly work with others on your team to identify best practices, solutions, and techniques in solving all of our plants biggest breakdowns or troubleshooting needs


Requirements

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • 5 years Industrial Maintenance Electrical/Instrument Repair experience and/or 3 years Industrial Maintenance Electrical/ Instrument Repair Experience with formal relevant education
  • PLC Experience
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated knowledge of behavior-based safety systems
  • Sitting, standing, walking, lifting and / or repetitive tasks throughout the day. Employee will be required to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
